During the August 13, 2024 Technical Assistance Tuesday, the Washington State Microenterprise Association (WSMA) welcomed John McNamara Co-Director with the NW Cooperative Development Center who presented information about Employee Ownership models, new legislation, the new state commission and more. The presentation focused on cooperatives, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) and other structures work and provided resources that are available to technical assistance providers and businesses on the ground and where folks can learn more about this vital economic development strategy in our communities!
