Featuring Lisa Smith, Executive Director of the Washington State Microenterprise Association (WSMA) and Nicolle Hansen, Manager of the Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs (SNAP) Women’s Business Center.
Local agencies have the knowledge, people and resources available to help businesses succeed. Owning and operating a business is one of the most exciting and challenging experiences for entrepreneurs. Business owners must know everything from accounting and marketing to human resources, and how to scale a business for growth. Often, entrepreneurs are not sure where to turn for help, or who to ask for business guidance. The good news is that there are expert resources, technical assistance, and organizations available locally and statewide. The event will be moderated by Susan Joseph Nielsen, Economic Development Specialist at the City of Spokane Valley.
